The Value of Education: Karen Fitch

Education is very important to me and always has been. 

As a child I was very shy and had a hard time making friends. I had amazing teachers in elementary school that showed me care and compassion and helped to push me and get me out of my shell. They would make sure I had someone to sit with and work with. I always felt welcome and comfortable in their classrooms. Many of my early teachers helped to introduce me to my first friends. I am forever grateful for their guidance and support. They made me want to be a compassionate teacher like them.

To me education is so important and not just for the basic skills like reading, writing, math and history, but also for social skills, life skills and so much more! Being a teacher with Limitless Learning International has given me the opportunity to be the best teacher I can be. I not only work on skills and core learning, but also show compassion and care for my students. I also get to find creative ways to reach students and really individualize lessons to their needs. I love the one-on-one time I get with the students each week to really see their growth and progress and get to know them so well! Education gives us all so many opportunities to be the best we can be.

Being able to give support at the child's level makes them better readers, writers and mathematicians. They are learning skills they will use for the rest of their lives and I want to ensure they master them at their own pace and with all the support and guidance they need.
